Summer is here and many of our members and friends are back from their winter residences. We also have a lot of guests visiting us every Sunday and and they are all welcome. We strive to be a loving, welcoming church and want everyone who comes through our doors to be blessed by our worship and fellowship. Please call on us for anything that you need. Don't forget that we have Prayer and Bible Study every Wednesday evening at 7:00 You will be welcomed and happy for having joined us.

We are assembling an e-mail prayer chain. If you would like to be part of this chain, please contact Laurie Thomas by phone, on the website, or e-mail. You do not have to be a church member to be part of this chain.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is coming in August. Laurie is looking for people who are willing to help by teaching, leading praise and worship time both on the beach and at closing exercises. If you would like to take part in skits or coordinating crafts, please give her a call. Prayerfully consider the way God can use you to His glory during VBS in 2010.

Volunteers Needed

Debbie Falk is looking for Nursery Volunteers. Since the volunteers rotate weeks there is not a huge time commitment required; one Sunday every 6 to 8 weeks. The new schedule starts in October so if you would like to be placed on the list, please call her as soon as possible.

A Prayer for Lent

O Lord, open my eyes that I may see more clearly the condition of my soul. If there is darkness, mean-spiritedness, egotistic pride...or worse within me, cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Renew a right spirit within me and make me truly Christ-like in all my thoughts and actions. And when I begin to edge away from your will, please stir up my conscience until I am in harmony with you again.
