Volunteers in Medicine

of

Cape May County

May we have eyes to see those

rendered invisible and excluded, open

arms and hearts to reach and and include them,

healing hands to touch their lives with

love. And in the process, heal ourselves

Dr. Jack McConnell, Founder of Volunteers in Medicine

                  Our Mission Statement
The primary mission of the Volunteers In Medicine of Cape May County is to understand and serve the health and wellness needs of the medically uninsured or underserved population living or working in Cape May County
                                    The Clinic
The Volunteers in Medicine of Cape May County (VIM) Clinic provides medical, pediatric and eye care services to financially eligible individuals and families who other wise have no access to health care

Since opening in 2002 the clinic has been supported by generous donations and services of individuals and businesses. The patient list continues to grow, and with the support of the caring members of the community of Cape May County and the donated services of the medical and administrative volunteers who donate their time, VIM will continue to provide these valuable services

The clinic building includes 5 medical exam rooms, an ophthalmic room, pediatric room, medical records office, a pharmacy and an administrative office. VIM was renovated by volunteers and area businesses. The clinic is staffed by over 80 community volunteers including: physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, ophthalmologists, a pediatric optician and nurses.
