The old saying, "many hands make light work" is true. Vivian Gowen is looking for volunteers to help with the luncheon on January 25th. If you are able to make a dessert, set-up, serve, and/or clean-up, please contact Vivian as soon as possible. Preparing and cleaning up meals has historically been a time for fellowship in the kitchen. Several generations are working together and in that time many of the world's problems have been solved, advice about children has been given and stories of the way things used to be have been told. Be a part of that fellowship and volunteer today.

The American Baptist Women will be meeting on January 20th at 10:30 AM to cut material squares. Make sure to bring a sandwich, dessert and drinks will be provided. They will also be meeting on February 17th at 12:30 PM for dessert and at 1:00 for their meeting. All women are encouraged to attend.

The Sunday School is looking for valunteers who can occasionally teach either Sunday School or Children's Church. Please contact Sharon Spriggs to let her know you are willing to help.

If you receive the Sunday Bulletins by mail and find you do not read them or are no longer interested in receiving the, please contact Esther Deamer and she will take your name off of the list. If you do not receive the bulletins but would like to, you may contact Esther to be added to the mailing list.

Mrs. Laurie would like to thank everyone who participated in the Christmas program this year. Everybody did a phenomenal job! A special thank you to Harry Wyatt, Jane Rife, Tracey Martin, Ruth Fritsch and Sarah Alvarez for their help.

The BYF would like to thank everyone who help with their recent projects. To everybody who donated time, cookies or cookie dough and to all those who used the BYF Christ Card Delivery...Thank You!

 

 

EXPLORER GIRLS

Attention Explorer Girls & PROPS! Mark your calendars!! The Explorer Girls will be holding a Birthday Party on January 14th and they are inviting their PROPS to attend. The party will be during the normal EG meeting time. The girls will also be having a special Valentine's Day Party on February 11th during their regular meeting time.
