The BYF will be distributing Christmas Cards again this year. Christmas cards can be brought in by Church members and friends for other church members and friends. Instead of putting postage on them, just donate the money to the BYF. They will serve as postmaster and deliver them to the recipients in church. A "mailbox" will be available in the foyer for you to put your cards in. A donation box will also be available.

MISSION OUTREACH PROJECT If you would like to go to Sister Jean's Kitchen on Friday, December 22nd, please let the Pastor know. A group will be going to serve lunch and take up some coats and blankets collected for the homeless. If you have a blanket, coat or any other piece of warm clothing, please bring it to the church so it can be donated. HOSPITALITY NIGHTS Our church is going to be a hospitality center again for MAC's Candlelight Tours. We need your help in making cookies. The BYF will serve between 1000 and 1500 people each night! Can you help by donating a batch or two of cookies? If you prefer to just make the dough, the youth group will do the baking! Just include final baking directions with your donation and THANK YOU! NOMINATING COMMITTEE The Nominating committee is meeting at the home of Carol Boyd on December 12th at 7:00 PM. Please prayerfully consider potential candidates to serve on various boards of our church. If you would like to serve, please speak to Pastor Jim or another member of the committee. CONGRATULATIONS! Donna Barnes was elected to the Board of Directors of Explorer Girls, Inc. for a three year term starting 2007. She is very excited to be serving the Lord in this new capacity and asks for prayers that the Holy Spirit will guide her in decisions impacting this wonderful ministry to girls. Explorer Girls just celebrated their 25th Anniversary! REGULAR OFFERING ENVELOPES Offering Envelopes will soon be available in the Church Foyer. Anyone who currently does not use Offering Envelopes and would like the, please see Bill Deamer. You do not have to be a church member to use the envelopes. You are encouraged to make use of them as they help ensure good record keeping. ANNUAL REPORTS It's that time of year again! Please hand in all Annaul Reports by Sunday, January 7th so that the Annual Report Booklets can be prepared. You can give your report to Sarah Alvarez or leave it in the church office mailbox. The Annual Church Business Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 28th after the Morning Worship Service. Booklets will be available for review prior to the meeting. Thanks to all who helped with the Messiah Sing-a-long. Anyone wishing to participate in the Pastor's annual gift should contact Bill Glaser. There are many opportunities to volunteer in the New Year. Please make a commitment to your church family and be involved. Many hands make light work.
